Almost Halloween
I love fall.. have I mentioned that! what a pretty morning. Getting ready to take daughter to a class at Gonzaga for a reading and writing session with college students, she really loves her teacher and writing with her. I think hubby and I are going to get some costumes at the thrift store to dress up and pass out candy with. Going to try and hit some craft fairs today. Then a date to carve pumpkins and make cupcakes with the family. Need some hot coffee, have a great fun fall weekend!

So I have a lot to learn about blogging, navigating,posting...its all new to me, and I want to know everything right now! grrrrr... so my daughter is going to help me over the weekend play around with some things, so maybe I will have my blog a bit more organized so I can start sharing what I love about different crafts and home decor and getting down to the fun stuff! What a pretty day looking out my window, fall! Love it. Looking forward to this weekend and checking out some craft fairs around town, and getting some display ideas for our first show. I will post pics of everything!

plate date
So I have been having a lot of fun with the plate flower making! I love stacking and designing something that the sun comes behind and shows off the colors of glass and makes you smile! everything has been from thrift stores and pretty much at half off sales, which is great as I can see this could be spendy otherwise. My friend has made several too and we have enjoyed the excitement of finding the best deals on plates, beads..etc. I want to keep making thees and hopefully by spring have enough to do a little spring sale! I will keep you posted and share the excitement.

New Project!
So My friend and I went thrift store junkin and decided to play around with the flower plate dingleberry thing's I had herd about. You know...lol taking plates of different size and shapes until it resembles a three dimensional flower. Then Glue (6000) apoxy to a iron stem or wood post or something that will with stand the weather..or just put in your flower bed laying flat. Well we had fun, fun, fun! My friend is addicted and I think its the thrill for me to search out the perfect plate shape's and color's at the endless thrift store that we know of and all the one's yet to be discovered! New, exciting
& fun!

Organizing!
So today after getting home from a long day...I decided to get some cleaning done in the studio...it seems that piles of stuff collect and grow. organizing is something I enjoy doing. Now that I have a space back it motivates me to do a new project..hmmm what to do? I really have piles of photos that need to get organized and have decided that scrap booking everything is to overwhelming to say the least, so instead i think I will organize them in albums and then pick out more important occasions to scrap. That makes more sense to me, for now anyway.

sunday morning
So I have looked at many utube tutorials on blogging and its overwhelming and I can see its going to take some time to get the hang of this. What I want to do and showcase is not working just yet. So I will continue to play until I figure it out! So going to the Kids day at the museum I ran into a lady that has her own little business out of her home! She has classes of different art mediums and you can sign up yourself or get a bunch of your girlie's together and have a great time together making something! So that is my plan to get this together and check out her place and what she does....so excited! I will take pics and post in the near future.
