custom long board in the making!

So my husband makes skateboards & long boards and I asked him if I could add some of my art to a deck to get a more feminine look....so I love it and I think it turned out great! He asked me to do another...lol :)

My Friend's Daughter is having a baby so after hearing that Owl's, Teal and Brown were the theme decided to  use some candle jars I had, and some little owls I've had in a drawer to good use, Spray painted the lids espresso brown, used a heavy duty glue to attach the owl's , then sprayed them too, they turned out really cute and I think she will love them. I wrapped them in cute vintage paper and put them in a wire basket with a handle so she can use the basket for extra, towels, or blankets.

Watercolor! fun play with the simple things! Paper,water,color,brush! let's go!

May My Favorite month! My Anniversary, Mothers day, and my Birthday!! of course spring and all that comes with it. Getting my hands dirty in the garden and seeing all the things coming to life again. It inspires me to do so many things. Over the last six months I have enjoyed hiding out in my art room, leaving huge messes rediscovering things I have purchased and tucked away for a project and then finding it and using it for something bigger and better. Its crazy how much stuff we accumulate.  I have also taken a few fun classes over the winter that have sparked some fun whimsical  pieces.
